What a job costs

The flat part is $0.10 for every video, whatever its length and however long it takes to process. The usage part follows the work the job does, not the length of the video: a long YouTube video with captions is transcribed without downloading anything and costs little, while a short clip put through full brand detection costs more.

Before a job runs, the API gives an estimate in credits. It is a guardrail, not a quote: the charge is measured when the job finishes. A failed job is never charged, and a job you cancel while it runs pays only for the work already done. The jobs API reference explains every field that reports credits.

Plans and credits

• Plan credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over.
• Credits you buy separately are not tied to the billing period.
• Change plan at any time. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
• Cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
